Jewellery Making Course May 2023

The timeless art of jewellery making leads one into a world of beautiful creation, experience and self-expression. Jewellery making is one of the earliest trades, requiring both creativity and precise, detailed work. It can become an incredibly fulfilling hobby, or a lifetime profession.

You are welcome to join me in learning this fascinating and magical skill.

One drawcard of jewellery making is that you may choose to use a variety of materials such as silver, gold, beads and other metals, creating any style of necklace, bracelet, ring or earrings. The only limit is your imagination.

About the course

In the course we will enter the world of jewellery making, and learn the basic knowledge of tools, working methods, metal theory, production processes and safety rules in the workshop.

After the initial overview, you will begin learning and practicing basic skills at a high level, accompanied by theoretical explanations. During the course you will practice with different tools materials and techniques designed to build your skills.

Each student has their own workstation, and you can enjoy the studio machinery and tools which allows the use of unique techniques for creating jewellery.

	Schedule	6 weeks of 3h session – Mondays or Wednesdays Evening 6:00pm-9:00pm
	Group size	Maximum of 5 students Study groups are designed to create a personal atmosphere and encourages greater support of each student’s individual progress & skill-building
	Materials	All necessary materials and tools will be provided Please bring a notebook, pen and an apron or loose shirt
	Level	Suitable for all ages and genders This course is an excellent basis for ongoing studies & specialization in further techniques
